Golden Press Card Awards deadline is Feb. 28

We've added a few new categories this year to make sure there are plenty of opportunities to recognize outstanding work of print, broadcast or online journalists, whether with a media organization or freelancing. We've posted categories for your perusal , as well as contest rules and the entry form. 

Entries may be submitted electronically or as hard copies. Either way, you must complete and submit the online form.

Current members of SPJ may make one entry at no cost, with additional entries at $20. The fee for nonmembers is $20 per entry. Winners will be announced at the Golden Press Card awards banquet, Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville.
